Thank you for the continual kind wishes and for reaching out to Gulfside! While our Florida community at large is still suffering from the aftereffects of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we at Gulfside are very busy refurbishing the beach cottages effected by the hurricanes. Luckily, the majority of our cottages were unaffected due to hurricane-proof doors, windows, and higher building heights. We plan to be operational in the next 2-3 weeks with a target date of November 2nd. Other good news: all your favorite local restaurants will be offering a soft opening in the next couple of weeks, with several already open, including TJ’s Pizza, Grove Surf Cafe, Guilty Sea’s Sports Pub, Jake’s Cantina, Crabby Bill’s, and PJ’s Seafood! Thank you for keeping us in your hearts and minds, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you kindly for keeping Gulfside in your thoughts and prayers. We feel blessed we had very minor messes from the storm on each property. Counting our blessings there was no major damage. We will be back on track towards reopening as soon as possible. However we realize not everyone was so lucky and encourage you to consider those less fortunate in other coastal communities—our hearts go out to them.

We wanted to update you on our AMAZING progress!
+All upstairs accommodations are in pristine condition.
+All power and water sources are fully back in operation.
+We suffered zero problems relating to sewer and related systems because of the building heights.
+Hurricane proof doors prevented water from entering the ground level units at the Indian Rocks Inn.
+We have contracted a professional team of excavators to unearth the sidewalks and swimming pools from sand erosion.
+We expect to be partly operational shortly due to the rapid pace of work being conducted on property.

An homage to the coastal grandmother—who leans in and discreetly whispers a secret in your left ear—as the waves from the Gulf lap in the foreground.
At night, she removes her earrings one by one and places a strand of South Sea pearls on a cut of blue velvet fabric next to her nightstand.
In the morning, she opens her shutters to the cries of gulls, the Gulf breeze and muses: what will the day bring?
In the afternoon she drinks a dry gin martini, no vermouth.
At cocktail hour, she’s waiting to tell you a secret.
You nod—and she politely tilts her head to the side as you conjure up something clever to say.
